Q&A About Liquid Super Cleanse

Q: I noticed my bowel movements began to slow down as I took the LIQUID SUPER CLEANSE™. Why is this happening?
A: We are all very different, and our bodies' reactions can vary widely to supplements, foods, and medications. While most of the herbs have been selected for their healing and detoxifying properties, some herbs have dual actions. In particular, some herbs may be helpful for constipation, but can also be helpful for diarrhea. This contradiction speaks to the individualized effects that people can have when taking herbs. While most people have great success, some may benefit by taking the cleanse with the 4FIBER™, since it can help bind with toxins and assist in their removal from the body, while enhancing elimination as well.
Q: Why do I feel bad all over when taking the LIQUID SUPER CLEANSE™?
A: Feeling bad is common while taking cleansing and detoxification products. Cleansing herbs are powerful and can trigger a "die-off" of toxins. If the liver and kidneys can't work fast enough to eliminate them, they can remain in circulation making us feel bad. The "die-off" reaction (or "Herxheimer" reaction) can signal that the product is working, but the level of detoxification may be a bit too aggressive. The best approach is to skip a day of cleansing to allow for the body's natural elimination of toxins, and then resume again, using an amount that allows for a more tolerable level of detoxification. Consult with your health care provider if your symptoms worsen.
